Top Dawg Kills ‘Em for Superb Saturday of College Football

College football can be tough sledding if you are a handicapper, but not here at Sportswatchplus.  Last season, the Top Dawg dominated the competition, so it is no surprise he is off to another red hot start.  Don’t get me wrong — there will be ups and downs — but when it comes to picking winners in college football, our guy is the best.

Yesterday, he dominated the board with a smoking 8-1 record, his only loss coming at the hands of Oklahoma State.  He had Iowa State to cover, LSU to win outright, Ohio State at TCU, and Texas at home against struggling USC.  Also, our top guy had San Diego State, ‘Bama, BYU on the road, and Vandy at Notre Dame.  His 8-1 total for the day pushed his overall record for 2018, including NFL games, to 30-10.

“Don’t expect it to be like that all season,” laughed the Dawg.  “I just got really hot when special teams seemed to dominate Saturdays play.  I am as solid as they come at college football, but this weekend was insane how the stars aligned on certain games.”

Indeed, Oklahoma State blocked two punts inside their own 20, both leading to touchdowns for the Cowboys, while Auburn missed a late field goal against LSU.  Those special teams snafus led to the win column for our Top Dawg.

“I have always done much better in college football,” adds Top Dawg.  “A couple of years ago, one of the bookmakers cut me off because I was beating them up so bad.  Lets hope we have the same problem this season.”

Our Top Dawg makes his picks for college football every Saturday morning, while his NFL picks are published Sunday mornings by 8:30 am PST.
